File Security Type

Downloadable content for Realm Works can be secured in a few different ways, depending on the nature of the material. Below is a summary of these different methods and how the secured content is ultimately used:

None – Content with no security can be freely imported into any realm by any user. The downloaded file has no restrictions imposed on its use.
Password – When password security is employed, the content is encrypted using a password. Any user with the appropriate password can import the content into any realms desired.
Account – Account-level security ties the content to a specific user account and it enforced entirely under the covers. The user to whom the content is tied can import it into any realms desired, while all other users will encounter an error when attempting to import the content.

This item requires that you first have a Hero Lab Online product license, as it is an add-on or upgrade for that product.
